2. What Data We Collect
Account data
Name, email address, profile photo (from Google/Apple sign-in), and authentication provider details.
Content data
Projects, scripts, characters, arcs, comments, and other creative content you create in the Service.
Usage data
AI credit usage, feature interactions, and collaboration activity (for billing and rate-limiting purposes).
Technical data
IP address, browser type, device information, and error logs collected automatically for debugging and security.
Payment data
Subscription plan, billing history, and payment method details. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.

- To provide AI-assisted writing features (content is sent to our AI provider)

6. Data Retention
- Account and content data is retained while your account is active
- Deleted projects are recoverable for 30 days, then permanently removed
- When you delete your account, all data is permanently removed within 30 days
- Billing records are retained as required by tax and accounting law (typically 7 years)
- Error logs and technical data are retained for up to 90 days
7. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the UK or EEA, you have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data
- Rectification: Correct inaccurate data via your account settings
- Erasure: Delete your account and all associated data
- Portability: Export your data in a machine-readable format (available in Settings)
- Restriction: Request that we limit processing of your data
- Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interest

8. Cookies
Scenvii uses essential cookies required for the Service to function (authentication session, preferences). We also use:

- Monitoring cookies: Error tracking to improve service reliability
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can manage cookie preferences via the cookie consent banner.
9. International Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the UK/EEA (primarily the United States) by our third-party processors. These transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards.
10. Children
The Service is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
